Crockett Care Closets

The Crockett Care closet’s purpose is to provide basic clothing and personal needs as well as weekend meals for students too old to qualify for other meal assistance programs.   Teachers and Counselors identify students, and those families are privately contacted.  Children in need of food are discretely provided with a gallon-sized bag of easy to prepared, breakfast, snack and dinner items to sustain them over each weekend.  The Care Closet is a project created and implemented in partnership with the Lamar County Homelessness Coalition, the Paris ISD, and Crockett Intermediate School.

If you’d like to get involved, there are opportunities to donate food and supplies, stock weekend meal bags, and provide monetary assistance.  We also ask for your prayers as we seek to expand this program to other schools in Lamar County.  For more information, email communications@connectionsparis.org
